This animation was commissioned to convey a number of different messages:
Potential retailers and operators had to see the location and ease of delivery access, the local authority wanted to assess the impact of the scheme on the landscape, investors had to be convinced this was a legitimate and viable opportunity and the local people wanted to see what they were going to get and how, using public transport, they were going to get there.
Our animation served as an illustration of all these points at various presentations. The transformation from day to night was particularly well received as this is when the general public was most likely to see the leisure aspect of the development. The developers themselves benefited by being seen to have put serious thought to every aspect of their proposal.
